In 2019 founder Marijan Govorkovic took a closer look at the topic of discrimination. During an everyday activity he came up with the idea of founding MIVOR – a fashion brand with a bigger vision was born. The brand concept, vision and mission were quickly established, but the founder did not want to fight discrimination alone.
The perfect co-founder was in the immediate vicinity.
After a conversation with his long-time friend Mehmet Demir, Marijan realized that Mehmet also has dreamed of a better world, a world where discrimination should not take place. For this reason Marijan felt the urge to share his plans with Mehmet. Mehmet did not need to think long, because he knew that each individual has the responsibility to change the world. Therefore, he wanted to be the voice of those who are not brave enough to express their opinion. So the founders Marijan and Mehmet united their ideas and forces to break the prejudices of people to make peaceful coexistence possible.
MIVOR sets a high value on including symbols of different religions and beliefs.
The young founders started directly with the creation of the logo, which of course should have a meaningful message. Simultaneously to the logo development, the first designs had already been worked on.
Corona did not pass MIVOR by and unfortunately made the young founders to release their first product range with a delay, additionally they had to replan their designs. Don’t worry the ideas are still there and MIVOR will implement them in the future.
